Why is it that some people can sing and others "can't?" Is it something we're born with, or something trained? Can anyone learn how to sing, or is just for the talented? Singing is for everyone, and always has been. Our familial and cultural backgrounds greatly influence the skills and mindsets we develop in our lives, and singing is no different. Some people grow up in musical environments that help cultivate their singing voice, while others grow up with little to no live music exposure or encouraged participation. Whatever your background, you can learn! If you can talk, you can sing.
